HOW TO MAKE ALOO SALAD ANARKALI


ALOO SALAD ANARKALI
INGREDIENTS
1.      Potatoes                       600gm
2.      Bengal gram                 150gm
3.      Soda bi – curd                         a pinch
4.      Salt                             
5.      Pomegranate                50gm
The dressing:-
1.      Lemon juice                 57ml
2.      Cumin powder                         10gm
3.      Chaat masala               10gm
4.      Groundnut oil              75gm
5.      Seasoning                   
The garnish:-
1.      Mint leaves                  20gm
2.      Onions                                     2
3.      Tomatoes                     2
METHOD
Preparation:- Boil, cool, peel and cut into ¾ in cubes.
The gram:- Soak over night in a handi, drain, replenish with fresh water, add soda bi-curd and salt, boil until tender.
The pomegranate:- Shell and reserve half of the fruit for garnish.
The dressing:- Mix lemon juice, cumin powder and chaat masala with groundnut oil. Adjust the seasoning.
The garnish:- Wash the mint leaves peel, wash and cut onions into roundles to make rings. Wash and cut tomatoes into roundles.
To serve:- Mix potatoes, gram and pomegranate in a glass bowl, pour on the dressing and toss gently, arrange onions and tomatoes on the sides. Sprincle the reserved pomegranate serve chilled.
